Konto und Daten löschen
Du kannst dein SchenkKI-Konto jederzeit selbst löschen. Die Löschung wirkt sofort und lässt sich nicht rückgängig machen.
So löschst du dein Konto in der App
- Öffne die SchenkKI-App und gehe zu Einstellungen.
- Scrolle zum Abschnitt Rechtliches.
- Tippe auf Konto löschen.
- Bestätige im folgenden Schritt. Danach ist dein Konto weg.
Du kommst nicht mehr in die App?
Wenn du die App schon deinstalliert hast oder dich nicht mehr anmelden kannst, kannst du die Kontolöschung über das Formular auf dieser Seite beantragen. Verwende möglichst die E-Mail-Adresse, die zu deinem SchenkKI-Konto gehört.
Kontolöschung beantragen
Das Absenden dieses Formulars löscht dein Konto nicht automatisch. Wir prüfen zuerst die Zuordnung zum Konto und bestätigen die Anfrage über die dazugehörige E-Mail-Adresse bzw. nach angemessener manueller Prüfung.
Was gelöscht wird
Mit der Löschung entfernen wir alles, worüber du oder eine von dir eingetragene Person benennbar wärt:
- dein Konto und deine Anmeldung — E-Mail-Adresse, Passwort, die Verknüpfung mit Google oder Apple
- alle von dir angelegten Geschenkpersonen, mit Vor- und Nachnamen und deinen Freitext-Beschreibungen
- das Datum eines eingetragenen Anlasses
Das geschieht sofort in einem Vorgang, nicht innerhalb einer Frist, und es gibt kein Wiederherstellen.
Was bleibt — und warum wir das hinschreiben
Wir halten unsere Daten auf zwei getrennten Ebenen. Die eine enthält alles, was auf einen Menschen zurückführt; die andere enthält dieselben Sachverhalte in verallgemeinerter Form — zum Beispiel eine Spanne von Geburtsjahren statt eines Geburtsdatums, und keinen Namen.
Die Löschung leert die erste Ebene vollständig und kappt die Verbindung zur zweiten. Was dort an anonymen Auswertungsdaten übrig bleibt, ist danach niemandem mehr zuzuordnen — auch uns nicht.
Wir schreiben das hin, statt „alle Ihre Daten werden gelöscht“ zu sagen, weil dieser Satz ein anderes System beschreiben würde.

Wenn du die App nur nicht mehr nutzt
Ein Gastkonto, das nie zu einem dauerhaften Konto gemacht wurde, löschen wir automatisch, wenn 90 Tage lang keine Anmeldeaktivität mehr stattgefunden hat. Du musst dafür nichts tun.
Einzelne Personen löschen, ohne das Konto aufzugeben
Wenn du nur eine eingetragene Geschenkperson entfernen willst, geht das in der App unter Personen → Person löschen. Dein Konto bleibt dabei bestehen.

Delete your account and data
You can delete your SchenkKI account yourself at any time. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the SchenkKI app and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Legal section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm on the next screen. Your account is then gone.
Can’t get into the app any more?
If you have already uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in, write to info@schenkki.de — ideally from the e-mail address you registered with. We will delete your account and confirm. Normally handled within one month, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
Deletion removes everything by which you, or a person you entered, could be named:
- your account and sign-in — e-mail address, password, the link to Google or Apple
- every gift recipient you created, including first and last names and your free-text descriptions
- the date of any occasion you entered
This happens immediately, in a single operation rather than within a period, and there is no undo.
What remains — and why we say so
We hold our data on two separate levels. One contains everything that leads back to a person; the other contains the same facts in generalized form — for example a span of birth years instead of a date of birth, and no name at all.
Deletion empties the first level entirely and severs the link to the second. Whatever anonymous analysis data remains there cannot be attributed to anyone afterwards — including by us.
We write this down instead of saying “all your data will be deleted”, because that sentence would describe a different system.

If you simply stop using the app
A guest account that was never turned into a permanent one is deleted automatically after 90 days without sign-in activity. You do not need to do anything.
Deleting individual people without giving up your account
To remove just one gift recipient, use People → Delete Person in the app. Your account stays.
